Sacramento Airport, known officially as Sacramento International Airport (IATA: SMF, ICAO: KSMF) is located 10 miles (16 km) northwest downtown Sacramento, in the state of California, U.S.

Sacramento airport has two runways and covers 6,000 acres (22 km). The top ten destinations are US airports/cities being Los Angeles, Seattle/Tacoma, Phoenix, San Diego, Denver, Las Vegas, Orange County, Portland, Ontario and Burbank.

Sacramento airport has two terminals: A and B, with a total of 32 gates.


Terminal A

It has 13 gates. A total of 4 airlines are operating in this terminal, like:

Terminal B

It has 19 gates. A total of 6 airlines are operating in this terminal: Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian, Horizon, Southwest and Volaris.

The terminal B has been expanded and nowadays is three times bigger than the original terminal B, two parts of the building are connected by an automated people mover.
